Samu Hietainen is a composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer, born and based in Finland. As a solo artist, he has drawn attention right from the get-go with his moody, atmospheric and experimental style in genres such as electronic music, contemporary classical, ambient, techno and house. Hietainen hasn’t been afraid to display a cinematic scope, deeply felt creative passion or genuine love for exploration in any of his works.

 

Known primarily for his composing and songwriting work, the multi-hyphenate talent also wields their musical sword in the alternative rock outfit Heart Tide. He works in pop music, film, television, video games and commercials, with a perceptive admiration of the power of music, cinema, TV and visual arts, which is why he’s involved in the visual presentation of his work as well, all the way from conception to physical creation.
